Ansaldo Energia Enters US Market with Gas Turbines for Texas Data Center
Ansaldo Energia has contracted with Pacifico Energy to supply eight AE64.3A gas turbines for a Texas data center, marking the company's return to the U.S. power generation market after over 30 years. First deliveries are scheduled for 2027, amid rising energy demands due to advancements in artificial intelligence and digital services.

Ansaldo Energia has signed a contract with Pacifico Energy for eight AE64.3A gas turbines, along with associated generators, intended for a major data center in Texas. This contract signifies Ansaldo's re-entry into the U.S. market for new power generation facilities after more than three decades, with deliveries expected to start in 2027.
The AE64.3A turbine is specifically designed for 60 Hz applications, boasting over 70 units installed globally and more than 4 million operational hours. The increasing demand for reliable energy sources related to artificial intelligence and digital services positions this project as a pivotal development in the energy sector. The agreement may pave the way for further collaborations between Ansaldo Energia and Pacifico Energy in a rapidly growing data center market.
