Antel will establish a new data center specializing in artificial intelligence in Pando, expected to be operational by the end of the year, with an investment of $8 million. A second center is planned for Montevideo to enhance storage capacity and provide geographic redundancy.

Antel has also installed a 4G base station at the Antarctic Scientific Base to improve communication. The company aims to expand its services in Argentina and Brazil, supported by high-capacity submarine and terrestrial connectivity. Antel currently provides wholesale internet connectivity using its infrastructure.
