Anzoátegui Governor Inaugurates El Limón Environmental Technology Park at Former Cantaura Landfill
The El Limón Environmental Technology Park has been inaugurated in Anzoátegui, transforming a former landfill into a facility aimed at waste management and recycling. An investment of over $120,000 was made for the 20-hectare site, which will optimize waste disposal and enhance the circular economy. The project provides a safe workspace for 30 recyclers and creates 10 new jobs. The site receives approximately 950 tons of waste monthly, with recyclers processing 20 to 30 tons of plastic materials.

The El Limón Environmental Technology Park was inaugurated by Anzoátegui Governor Luis José Marcano, transforming a former open-air waste dump into a facility focused on waste management and recycling. The project, costing over $120,000, includes 20 hectares of land that underwent deep cleaning and structural improvements.
It aims to enhance the circular economy by recycling plastics into new products. The initiative benefits 30 local recyclers and creates 10 jobs, while the site processes around 950 tons of waste monthly, with recyclers handling 20 to 30 tons of plastic.
