Aon Expands Data Center Lifecycle Insurance Program Capacity to $3.5B
Aon plc is increasing its Data Center Lifecycle Insurance Program capacity by $1 billion to reach $3.5 billion. This expansion allows for coverage of existing data centers, enhancing support for critical assets through their operational phase.

Aon plc's Data Center Lifecycle Insurance Program (DCLP) is being expanded to a total capacity of $3.5 billion, with an additional $1 billion. The updated program now includes coverage for existing data centers transitioning from their first year of operations, thereby extending support into their long-term operations.
Initiated in July 2025, the DCLP addresses various risks associated with data centers, including construction and operational challenges. This expansion is attributed to increasing global investments in cloud computing and the importance of resilience in critical infrastructure. The move may reflect the industry's need for enhanced risk management as data centers become essential to the global economy.
