Aon Increases Data Center Lifecycle Insurance Program to $5 Billion
Aon plc has expanded its Data Center Lifecycle Insurance Program (DCLP) to $5 billion, enhancing integrated risk solutions for digital infrastructure. This expansion is crucial as demand grows for insurance that supports complex and capital-intensive projects, particularly in AI and cloud computing sectors.

Aon has increased its Data Center Lifecycle Insurance Program (DCLP) capacity to $5 billion, integrating more risk solutions to bolster digital infrastructure projects from construction to long-term operation. The enhanced program now offers coverage including $5 billion in Construction All Risks, Delay in Start-Up, Property Damage, and Business Interruption, supported by A-rated insurers.
It also includes expanded liability, cyber, and project cargo coverage, with up to $200 million in third-party liability outside the U.S. and $400 million in Cyber and Technology Errors and Omissions. This development addresses the rising demand for insurance solutions amid growing investments in AI and cloud computing, indicating a shift towards more resilient digital infrastructure assets.
