Apex Secures $2.79 Billion for 670MW Wind and Energy Storage Projects
Apex has secured $2.79 billion in financing for its Emerson Creek Wind project in Ohio and Coles Wind project in Illinois, totaling 670MW. The company also launched operations on two wind projects and a 100MW storage project in Texas, with an additional $150 million allocated for the Great Kiskadee Storage project set to begin operations in Q3 2024. Additionally, Apex has formed a joint venture with SK Gas and SK Eternix to bolster capital for clean energy investments.

Apex financed the Emerson Creek Wind project in Ohio and Coles Wind in Illinois, totaling 670MW, with $2.79 billion in commitments from various banks. The company also commenced operations on two wind projects and a 100MW storage project in Texas.
Apex received $150 million for the Great Kiskadee Storage project in Texas, with an anticipated COD in Q3 2024. Apex formed a JV with SK Gas and SK Eternix to enhance capital for clean energy investments, supported by legal and financial teams from McDermott, Will & Schute.
