Applied Digital is developing a state-of-the-art AI data center in Ellendale, North Dakota, with an investment of $5 billion for three buildings. This investment represents a quarter of North Dakota's GDP.

Each facility will have a capacity of 100 megawatts, enough to supply energy for a city of 100,000 people. Collectively, the energy needs of these data centers will serve nearly half of the state's population.
