APR Energy Expands Mobile Gas Turbine Fleet to 1.1GW for Data Centres
APR Energy has increased its mobile gas turbine capacity to over 1.1GW to address urgent power needs from data centre developers and utilities. The expansion follows a significant credit line increase from Wingspire Capital, reflecting the growing demand for temporary power solutions.

APR Energy has boosted its mobile gas turbine fleet capacity from 850MW to over 1.1GW through the acquisition of eight new turbines. This expansion comes after Wingspire Capital doubled its credit line to $300 million, enabling APR to meet immediate power demands from data centre developers facing grid constraints.
Currently, APR is supplying 375MW to a major AI data centre, highlighting the increasing need from hyperscale customers. The company can operationalize its mobile turbines within 30 to 90 days, providing a rapid response to power requirements while long-term infrastructure is established. APR's existing fleet includes turbines from GE and Mitsubishi.
