Aquafortus has partnered with GS Engineering & Construction to develop wastewater treatment solutions for the secondary battery industry in South Korea, marking its entry into the Korean market. The collaboration will focus on a pilot project in Pohang, designed to treat approximately 80 cubic meters per day of high-salinity wastewater from battery manufacturing.

Aquafortus' ABX™ Technology utilizes patented absorbent chemistry to efficiently concentrate brine and recover clean water, addressing the complex treatment needs of this growing sector. The partnership aims to support the commercialization of these solutions across South Korea's battery manufacturing landscape.
