Arc Energy Signs 10-Year Storage Contract for 250 MW Bowmans Creek Project in New South Wales
Arc Energy has signed a Long-Term Energy Service Agreement with the New South Wales government for its 250 MW Bowmans Creek Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. The agreement ensures stable revenue for 10 years from the project's operational start. The BESS can store and discharge about 2,000 MWh of energy, providing stability to the renewable energy supply. This follows Arc Energy's Richmond Valley BESS project, which is set for commercial operation next year.
