Arc Energy has finalized a Long-Term Energy Service Agreement with the New South Wales state government for its 250 MW Bowmans Creek Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. This contract guarantees a stable revenue base for 10 years once operations begin.

The BESS is designed to store approximately 2,000 MWh of energy and will help manage power supply and demand by utilizing renewable energy generated during the day. The contract follows Arc Energy's Richmond Valley BESS project, with a capacity of 275 MW, expected to commence operations next year. The agreement reflects recognition of Arc Energy's expertise in renewable energy.
