Architect Financial Technologies to Launch AI Compute Perpetual Futures Exchange
Architect Financial Technologies, led by former FTX US president Brett Harrison, is set to launch an AI compute perpetual futures exchange, AX, pending regulatory approval. The exchange will offer contracts linked to GPU rental and DRAM prices, aimed at helping AI firms manage volatility and depreciation risks. AX has raised $35 million in Series A funding, valuing the company at $187 million, and currently provides perpetual contracts for traditional assets.

Architect Financial Technologies, founded by former FTX US president Brett Harrison, plans to launch perpetual futures contracts linked to AI compute markets through its exchange, AX, pending regulatory approval. These contracts will track daily GPU rental prices and DRAM pricing, developed in partnership with Ornn Data.
The products aim to help AI companies and data center operators manage volatility and depreciation risks. AX currently offers perpetual contracts for traditional assets and has raised $35 million in Series A funding, valuing the firm at $187 million. The exchange will allow margin trading funded in USD or stablecoins.
