Ares Funds Invests in Sabey Data Center Properties to Support Growth
Ares Secondaries funds have made a minority equity investment in Sabey Data Center Properties, enhancing its capital resources for expansion. This transaction reflects the increasing demand for data center infrastructure driven by cloud computing and AI.

Ares Secondaries funds acquired a minority equity stake in Sabey Data Center Properties, LLC (SDCP), a data center owner and operator in the U.S. This investment introduces institutional capital, facilitating SDCP's expansion plans and potential output growth, which could triple by 2036.
The partnership will enable SDCP to accelerate development across existing campuses and explore new opportunities in key markets. As of March 31, 2026, SDCP's operating capacity includes 76MW of built powered shell capacity. This investment aligns with Ares' strategy to provide flexible capital solutions as they access a quality portfolio leased to investment-grade tenants.
