Argentina's Atenea Microsatellite to Launch with NASA's Artemis II Mission
Argentina's Atenea microsatellite is set to launch alongside NASA's Artemis II mission on February 6, 2026, from Kennedy Space Center. Developed by the National Space Activities Commission (CONAE) and VENG S.A., Atenea will be deployed 70,000 kilometers from Earth, marking a record distance for Argentine satellites, and will focus on measuring radiation, testing space components, and validating long-distance communication technologies.
