Arista Networks is enhancing its Cognitive Campus portfolio with VESPA, a Mobility Framework, and new features for its AVA AI platform. VESPA enables Wi-Fi mobility with capacities for over 500,000 clients and aims for sub-second failover times without traditional hardware controllers.
Arizona State University has collaborated with Arista to validate the VESPA architecture in a large campus setting. Additionally, Arista is rolling out two rugged platforms, the 710HXP-28TXH and 710HXP-20TNH, designed for industrial and outdoor environments, offering multi-gig ports and up to 90 watts PoE per port.
These products will integrate into a unified operational model from data center to industrial edge via EOS and CloudVision. General availability for the new software features and switch platforms is planned for Q1 2026.
