Wiltshire Council has approved Ark Data Centres' construction of a new 27,350 sqm data center in Corsham, UK, following local residents' concerns that delayed the decision. The facility will be 18 meters tall and located adjacent to Ark's existing Spring Park campus, which already has five data centers.

A sixth was approved in May 2024, and the latest proposal submitted in June 2024 aims to bring the total to seven. Despite more than 1,100 opposing comments about flood risks and environmental impact, Ark remains committed to investing in Corsham, though it has considered other UK and overseas sites.
