ARKO Targets IDR 173 Billion from Kukusan II and Tomoni Mini Hydropower Plants by 2026

PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO), part of Astra Group, aims to generate IDR 173 billion in revenue from two mini-hydropower projects in 2026. The Kukusan II Mini Hydropower Plant in Lampung, with a capacity of 5.4 MW, is expected to produce 35,054 MWh and generate IDR 33 billion in revenue.

Construction began in 2022, with commercial operations starting in late 2025. The Tomoni Mini Hydropower Plant in South Sulawesi, with a capacity of 10 MW, is projected to yield IDR 140 billion in revenue and 56,940 MWh of electricity, beginning operations in Q2 2026 after commencing construction in 2024.

Both projects utilize equipment from international vendors, with Kukusan II using Voith Hydro and Tomoni employing Flovel Energy. ARKO also plans to construct the Pongbembe Hydropower Plant in South Sulawesi, requiring approximately USD 48.52 million in funding. ARKO reported a 61.2% year-on-year revenue increase to IDR 247.4 billion by September 2025.
