Arm Introduces First Production Silicon Products with Arm AGI CPU for AI Data Centers
Arm Holdings plc has launched the Arm AGI CPU, marking its first foray into production silicon products aimed at AI data centers. This expansion allows partners to leverage Arm-designed silicon for agentic AI workloads and enhances the compute platform's scalability and efficiency. The Arm AGI CPU features up to 136 cores, high memory bandwidth, and significant performance improvements over x86 CPUs, promising up to $10B in CAPEX savings per GW of AI data center capacity. The initiative has garnered support from major companies including Meta, AWS, and Google.
