Armenia Secures $25 Million GPU Deal with Firebird AI for AI Development
Armenia's Ministry of High Technologies has signed a $25 million agreement with Firebird AI to supply high-performance GPUs over five years. This initiative supports local startups and educational institutions, aiming to enhance the country's AI capabilities, with a total GPU target of 110,000 by mid-2026.

The Armenian government has entered a five-year, $25 million agreement with Firebird AI for the supply of high-performance GPUs, aimed at bolstering the local AI ecosystem. This initiative will support startups and educational institutions, facilitating AI development and implementation.
Concurrently, a broader project involving a $500 million investment will establish an AI data center, set to launch in 2026, with plans for an additional $4 billion phase to expand GPU capacity. Firebird AI aims to produce 60,000 GPUs by mid-2026, increasing Armenia’s total to 110,000. This expansion is crucial as global demand for GPUs rises, and it positions Armenia as a potential leader in GPU availability.
