By 2027, Armenia's Virtual Institute of Artificial Intelligence will provide access to Firebird AI computing resources, targeting students, startups, and researchers. This initiative, launched by the Ministry of High-Tech Industry in partnership with AWS and Mistral AI, is part of a $500 million investment by Firebird AI for an AI data center in Armenia.

The AI data center will support innovation and education, utilizing NVIDIA technology and commencing operations in 2026. A pilot program for state support for AI infrastructure will be launched, alongside a citizen-AI dialogue platform in the first half of 2026. The Armenian government is also focused on digitization and AI applications in government services.
