Art from Kaposvár to Launch into Space in 40 Days
A 4x4 cm artwork will be launched from Vandenberg Space Force Base aboard a GEN-2P capsule. This mission aims to explore the effects of space conditions on the artwork, which will later be auctioned for charity.

In 40 days, a 4x4 cm artwork will lift off from Vandenberg Space Force Base, traveling aboard the GEN-2P capsule made of titanium and Kevlar. Scientific leader Mátyás Bence has integrated the piece into the satellite, which must endure extreme cold of space and intense heat during atmospheric re-entry.
Following exposure to microgravity and cosmic radiation, the artwork will undergo thorough examination before being auctioned for charitable purposes. The mission represents a unique intersection of art and science, potentially raising significant funds for its cause.
