Aruba Acquires Three Hydroelectric Plants in Piemonte for Data Center Energy Supply
Aruba S.p.A. has acquired three hydroelectric power plants in the Stura di Lanzo region of Piemonte, increasing its renewable energy production to over 60 GWh annually. This acquisition aligns with rising energy demands from data centers, driven by AI and cloud services, and supports Aruba's strategy to enhance energy independence through direct renewable energy production.

Aruba S.p.A. has expanded its hydroelectric capacity by acquiring three plants in Piemonte, producing approximately 10 GWh of renewable energy annually. This brings Aruba's total to 11 plants and over 60 GWh of renewable energy, sufficient for more than 22,000 households.
