Arverne Group's subsidiary, Lithium de France, is set to initiate a geothermal lithium extraction project in Alsace, classified among 150 strategic industrial initiatives by the French government. This project will receive enhanced administrative support and expedited procedures to aid national reindustrialization efforts.

Lithium de France, a subsidiary of Arverne Group, plans to commence a geothermal lithium extraction project in Alsace, projected to require investments between €1.8 billion and €1.9 billion. This project is critical, as it aims to provide both heat to local municipalities and lithium carbonate for electric vehicle batteries, with production expected to start in 2028 and peak around 2035. The French government’s recognition of the project as one of 150 strategic initiatives underlines its importance in the reindustrialization strategy, potentially influencing future energy supply and sustainability in the region.
