Ascenty Signs 110MW Renewable Energy Deal with Casa dos Ventos in Brazil
Ascenty has signed a renewable energy supply agreement with Casa dos Ventos for 110MW across two projects in Brazil, valued at approximately $500 million. The projects, including the Dom Inocencio wind farm and the Paraiso solar project, are expected to commence operations in 2027 and will help avoid around five million tons of CO2 emissions. This agreement underscores Ascenty's commitment to renewable energy as it seeks to enhance operational flexibility and support growth in Latin America's data center sector.

Ascenty has entered into a renewable energy supply agreement with Casa dos Ventos for 110MW across two projects in Brazil, valued at approximately $500 million. The projects include the Dom Inocencio wind farm in Piaui and the Paraiso solar project in Mato Grosso do Sul, which together have a capacity of over 1.5GW and are expected to start operations in 2027.
As part of the deal, Ascenty will gain equity interest in these projects. The agreement aims to enhance operational flexibility for Ascenty and is projected to help avoid around five million tons of CO2 emissions.
