Ashville Council Rejects 400-Acre Annexation for EdgeConneX Data Center, Focuses on CEDA Agreement Update
The Ashville Village Council voted 4-2 to reject a proposed 400-acre annexation for the EdgeConneX data center, prioritizing local control and farmland preservation. The decision allows EdgeConneX to retain its existing 200 acres within the village while emphasizing the need for collaboration with South Bloomfield and Harrison Township to manage regional growth and update the CEDA agreement, which has been under revision for nearly two years.
