Askari Metals Advances Drilling Plans at Nejo Gold-Copper Project in Ethiopia
Askari Metals is preparing for its first drilling campaign at the Nejo Gold-Copper Project in Ethiopia, targeting multiple high-grade mineralization areas. This effort is part of a broader strategy to enhance its critical metals portfolio in Namibia and increase shareholder value through sustained exploration activities.

Askari Metals (ASX: AS2) has initiated preparations for its inaugural drilling at the Nejo Gold-Copper Project in Ethiopia, focusing on the Guji-Gudeya trend and other priority targets covering a mineralized trend of approximately 9km. Concurrently, in Namibia, the company is reviewing and refining targets across its Uis critical metals project, which includes confirmed high-grade tin and tantalum across several pegmatite systems.
Recent exploration expenditures totaled $121,000 for various preparatory activities. The strategic positioning of Askari in both regions aims to leverage strong in-country relationships and technical knowledge, which could lead to significant discoveries and a positive re-rating of the company's stock.
