Asp Data Center has partnered with Lyse to integrate district cooling and heat recovery at its data center in Forus, Norway. Lyse will supply up to 3MW of cooling services, while excess heat from the data center will be fed into Lyse's district heating network.

The partnership takes advantage of Lyse's existing infrastructure, making the heat reuse system technically feasible. This collaboration aims to reduce the reliance on traditional cooling systems and improve sustainability.

Further phases of the project are planned to be implemented between 2026 and 2033. Asp DC, established in 2022 by Asp Eiendom AS, has also expanded its operations with recent acquisitions in Norway and Finland, including a data center development site in Pori with potential capacity of 300-400MW.
