Astra International Tbk (ASII) has set its capital expenditure (capex) for 2026 at IDR 36 trillion, reflecting a 10% increase from IDR 32 trillion in 2025. This increase is driven by selective investment strategies in response to economic conditions.
The company plans to prioritize maintenance and strategic sector investments, especially in heavy equipment and mining, while also developing new business pillars, including healthcare. ASII holds over 20% in PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk and is investing in a digital health platform. The company is diversifying into gold and nickel mining and expanding into logistics and data centers.
