ASUS and ASUSTOR Launch Micro-Data Centers for Italian Micro Enterprises
ASUS and ASUSTOR have introduced Micro-Data Centers aimed at enhancing digital sovereignty for Italian micro enterprises, addressing over 94% of local business IT needs. This integrated solution combines powerful mini PCs with advanced NAS storage, significantly improving data management and operational efficiency.

ASUS and ASUSTOR's Micro-Data Centers offer compact computing and scalable storage solutions tailored for micro enterprises in Italy. Central to this offering is the ASUS NUC 16 Pro, featuring Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, paired with ASUSTOR's Lockerstor Gen2+ NAS, providing Dual-5GbE connectivity and support for up to 4 NVMe slots.
These configurations ensure rapid access to corporate assets while maximizing data sovereignty and reducing operational costs. The infrastructure is designed for Windows, supporting collaborative software and advanced VoIP systems, thus enhancing security and performance while allowing businesses to maintain control over their data management.
Various configurations range from the Lockerstor 2 Gen2+ to the high-end Lockerstor 6 Gen2+, with prices starting at 489 euros for NUCs and 640 euros for NAS units. The deployment of such technology could significantly elevate the competitive standing of micro enterprises against larger firms.
