Atlassian Reports 21% Revenue Growth and Acquires Engineering Intelligence Firm DX for $1 Billion

Atlassian reported a 21% revenue growth to $1.43 billion for the recent quarter, surpassing market forecasts by 2.3%. The adjusted EPS was $1.04, exceeding estimates of $0.83. Subscription revenues increased by 22% to $1.37 billion, while other revenues decreased by 19% to $58.1 million due to the phase-out of Data Center and Server sales.

For Q2, Atlassian projects revenues of $1.535-$1.543 billion, above the market estimate of $1.51 billion. The company announced the acquisition of engineering intelligence firm DX for $1 billion. DX, founded by Abi Noda and Greyson Junggren, aims to enhance developer productivity through insights from comprehensive data analysis.

Post-acquisition, Atlassian and DX will deliver improved visibility into developer bottlenecks and productivity metrics. Atlassian's stock is currently priced at $153.88 with a market cap of $41.7 billion.
