Atria University Launches Atria Beyonder Labs to Foster Startup Innovation in Bengaluru
Atria University has launched Atria Beyonder Labs (ABL) to drive applied research and startup development. Inaugurated in Bengaluru by Karnataka Minister Priyank Kharge, ABL will incubate nine startups focusing on areas such as autonomous logistics, biomedical waste safety, green hydrogen, carbon-negative materials, and desalination technologies.
The lab aims to strengthen ties between academia, industry, and startups, enhancing the innovation ecosystem in Karnataka. A report indicates that structured incubation programs yield success rates of 70-87% for startups. ABL will operate in high-impact fields like life sciences, clean energy, AI, and advanced engineering, emphasizing solutions for industrial and societal challenges.
