The development, which includes plans for six two-story buildings totaling over 2.15 million square feet, is expected to significantly affect water supply and wetlands, with completion anticipated by Q2 2026. Preliminary work has already commenced on the site located off Gordon Highway.

The Augusta Commission will hear from the Haynes Station Concerned Residents Committee regarding a proposed data center near the Haynes Station subdivision. The site is located off Gordon Highway, with the east edge behind homes on Goodale Drive and the west side extending to Captain's Corner.

The state application indicates potential impacts on water supply, wetlands, and floodplains, with plans for six two-story buildings totaling over 2.15 million square feet, compared to Augusta Mall's 1.1 million square feet.
The facility is expected to consume 18,000 gallons of water and generate 9,200 gallons of wastewater daily. Preliminary work has begun, and the project could be completed by Q2 2026.
