Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club introduces the Caribbean's inaugural Chief Water Officer role to enhance water stewardship. This initiative aims to eliminate single-use plastic water bottles and promote sustainable hospitality practices.

Aurora Anguilla Resort & Golf Club has appointed Sean Robertson as its first Chief Water Officer to oversee water management and sustainability efforts. The resort's initiative includes eliminating single-use plastic water bottles and implementing a comprehensive water sustainability program.
Guests receive reusable water bottles upon arrival, and hydration stations are available for refills. The resort also features a desalination plant and hydroponic farm to support its water-conscious practices. This role emphasizes the importance of responsible water management in hospitality, particularly on an island with limited freshwater resources, potentially setting a precedent for similar initiatives in the region.
