Aurrigo Secures Licence for Ground-Handling Services at East Midlands Airport
Aurrigo International plc has been awarded a licence to provide ground-handling services at East Midlands Airport (EMA) to support its autonomous aviation technologies. The licence allows Aurrigo to assist in deploying its autonomous ground-service equipment (GSE) in collaboration with airport teams. Aurrigo aims to obtain additional ground-handling licences at other appropriate locations to further implement its automated solutions.

Aurrigo International plc has secured a licence for ground-handling services at East Midlands Airport (EMA) in the UK. This licence enables Aurrigo to support the rollout of its autonomous aviation technologies by collaborating directly with airport teams for the integration of its ground-service equipment (GSE).
The licence complies with the Airports (Ground Handling) Regulations 1997 and the Civil Aviation Authority's framework. Aurrigo plans to pursue additional ground-handling licences to facilitate the adoption of its automated baggage and cargo handling solutions across the aviation sector globally.
