Avacon and enviaM have launched a high-security data center in Sehnde, Niedersachsen, after 18 months of construction and a 40 million Euro investment. The center, located on Hedwig-Kohn-Straße, can accommodate 28,000 servers and has a maximum storage capacity of 1.4 Exabytes.

It is powered by renewable energy from an adjacent solar facility and features advanced security systems, including video surveillance and fire protection measures. The site has been engineered to withstand flooding and includes diesel generators for backup power. The project enhances Sehnde's economic landscape and establishes new standards for digital infrastructure in Niedersachsen.
