Under CEO John Boag, Avincis is enhancing its safety culture and organizational structure, reporting a 60% increase in safety reports since 2023.

Avincis is a major player in emergency aerial services with a fleet of 165 helicopters, 2,400 employees, and over 180 bases across 10 countries. Following its acquisition by Ancala Partners in March 2023, Avincis became the largest operator of emergency aerial services in Europe.
The company focuses on emergency medical services, search-and-rescue, and firefighting, with 71,000 flying hours recorded this year. Its fleet includes various helicopter types, such as the AW139 and H135, and operates in countries including Spain, Italy, Portugal, and beyond.
Under CEO John Boag's leadership, Avincis is evolving its organizational structure and safety culture, reporting a 60% increase in safety reports since 2023. The company has also entered the offshore wind support sector by acquiring KN Helicopters in Denmark, indicating plans for expansion in emerging markets. Boag aims to establish Avincis as the leading emergency aerial services provider globally.
