Axiom Space Expands University Alliance with New UK Members
Axiom Space's University Alliance now includes Edinburgh University and King's College London, expanding its global reach. This initiative supports microgravity research, aligning with the industry’s shift towards commercial space ecosystems.

Axiom Space has added Edinburgh University and King's College London to its University Alliance, which now spans countries including New Zealand, India, and Uzbekistan. Established in 2025 with 15 initial members, the alliance aims to prioritize access to microgravity for research and innovation as the sector transitions to commercial space operations.
The Axiom Data Center Unit-1, a project intended for the International Space Station by 2025, exemplifies the technological advancements being developed for future orbital use. Axiom Space is also one of NASA's partners competing to create new orbital destinations.
