Axiom Space to Establish Japanese Subsidiary in Tokyo
Axiom Space is set to launch a wholly owned subsidiary in Tokyo on July 1, enhancing collaboration with Japan's government and industries. This strategic move supports Axiom's goal of developing a commercial alternative to the International Space Station (ISS).

Axiom Space will establish a subsidiary in Japan on July 1, aiming to strengthen relationships with local government and industries. Koichi Wakata, former JAXA astronaut and current Axiom CTO, will lead the new Tokyo office.
This initiative aligns with Axiom's efforts to create a commercial successor to the International Space Station (ISS). The establishment of this subsidiary potentially opens new avenues for collaboration in the aerospace sector between the U.S. and Japan, reflecting the increasing importance of international partnerships in space exploration.
