Axis Energy to Invest INR 31,750 Crore in 5 GW Renewable Energy Projects in Odisha
Axis Energy has announced a significant investment of INR 31,750 crore to develop 5 GW of renewable energy projects in Odisha, which will include wind, solar, agri-PV, hybrid, and battery energy storage systems, creating over 5,500 jobs. This initiative is part of a broader commitment to renewable energy in India, following similar investments in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, aimed at bolstering the country's renewable energy capacity and infrastructure.

Axis Energy has proposed an investment of INR 31,750 crore in Odisha to develop 5 GW of renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, agri-PV, hybrid, and battery energy storage systems. This initiative aims to enhance Odisha's status as a renewable energy hub and is expected to create over 5,500 direct and indirect jobs.
Additionally, in December 2025, Axis Energy and Evren committed INR 31,500 crore for 2,750 MW of renewable projects in Telangana, which will span 19,750 acres and generate approximately 4,750 direct jobs. Furthermore, in November 2025, the Andhra Pradesh government signed a memorandum of understanding worth INR 1.10 lakh crore with ABC Cleantech (Evren) and Axis Energy Ventures India for various renewable energy developments, including 6,500 MW each of wind and solar energy and energy storage.
