Azucar Minerals Identifies Large Lithocap at El Cobre Project
Azucar Minerals Ltd. has mapped a significant lithocap alteration area at the El Cobre Project, supporting potential porphyry targets. This finding is crucial for advancing exploration and drilling plans aimed at uncovering new mineral resources.

Azucar Minerals Ltd. has defined a large lithocap alteration area at the El Cobre Project, which overlaps with a deep IP geophysical anomaly. The alteration zone is approximately 700 metres by 550 metres, featuring a strong alteration signature indicative of an underlying porphyry system.
A grid-based soil sampling program is in progress to refine the alteration vector map, aiding in the targeting of a drill program slated for H1 2022. Additionally, the company plans to explore the Raya Tembrillo Target and the Encinal Zone, where previous drilling revealed significant copper and gold mineralization. Azucar will transition its OTC trading from OTCQX to OTCQB effective January 1, 2022.
