BAE Systems and U.S. Department of War Sign Agreement to Quadruple THAAD Seeker Production
BAE Systems has signed a seven-year agreement with the U.S. Department of War to quadruple the production of infrared seekers for THAAD interceptor missiles. This agreement aims to enhance production capacity and accelerate delivery to support Lockheed Martin. The initiative aligns with the DoW's Acquisition Transformation Strategy to rapidly deploy critical defense technologies.

BAE Systems has entered a seven-year framework agreement with the U.S. Department of War to quadruple the production of infrared seekers for the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) interceptor missile.
This agreement focuses on increasing annual production to improve capabilities against ballistic missile threats. Production will occur at BAE's facilities in Nashua, New Hampshire, and Endicott, New York.
The deal supports the DoW's Acquisition Transformation Strategy, aimed at delivering defense technologies quickly and efficiently. BAE Systems plans to invest in manufacturing capacity and workforce for sustained high-volume production.
