DATA AND AI INFRASTRUCTURE
Bain Capital completed the sale of WinTriX DC Group's China business, valued at approximately $4 billion, to a consortium led by Shenzhen Dongyangguang Industry Co., Ltd. The transaction is the largest in China's data center history and involves the Chindata platform.
Bain first invested in WinTriX in 2018, helping it grow into a leading hyperscale data center operator. The deal is part of Bain's strategy to support infrastructure assets and reflects confidence in China's digital infrastructure growth. HEC is expected to guide Chindata's development.
