Ballard Power Systems has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kolon Industries to enhance collaboration in technology and the hydrogen value chain. The agreement was finalized on December 4, 2025, at the World Hydrogen Expo in Seoul, South Korea.

This partnership aims to leverage Kolon's expertise in materials and humidifier technologies alongside Ballard's fuel cell systems. The collaboration will focus on moisture control devices and joint R&D efforts to improve performance in fuel cell solutions. Upcoming initiatives include establishing a more stable supply chain to support Ballard's plans for hydrogen mobility and energy storage.
