Bangkok Industrial Gas Co. (BIG) is collaborating with suppliers and customers to enhance efficiency amid rising energy costs. The company offers complimentary consultations on maximizing energy efficiency and minimizing fossil fuel use, emphasizing the importance of partner success for its own viability.
BIG is also applying AI to boost productivity and draw insights from Covid-19 lockdown adaptations. Its upcoming Map Ta Phut Air Separation Unit 2 (MAP2) aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, with completion expected in 2027.
This project is part of a broader strategy, including the establishment of Southeast Asia's first hydrogen refueling station in partnership with PTT Group and Toyota. Future plans include developing green and blue hydrogen technologies, critical for Thailand's energy transition.
