Barksdale Reports High-Grade Copper Intersections at Sunnyside Project
Barksdale has intersected high-grade porphyry copper mineralization, with significant intervals of 0.93% Cu and 0.90% Cu over 60.96 meters. The drilling program aims to expand the mineral footprint, focusing on the Chalcocite Zone.

Barksdale has completed 13 drill holes totaling 13,475 ft (4,107 m) as of May 1, 2026. Current drilling efforts are concentrated in the Chalcocite Zone, with plans to enhance operations by adding a third crew for continuous drilling.
The company's VP of Exploration noted that current data indicates the high-grade hypogene copper mineralization is part of a significant porphyry deposit. Additional testing of middle and lower porphyry targets is planned to discover further high-grade copper bodies. This could potentially lead to increased resource estimates and development timelines for the Sunnyside Project.
