BASF and Lindex Partner to Introduce Recycled Polyamide in Lingerie
BASF and Lindex are collaborating to integrate recycled polyamide materials into lingerie, utilizing BASF's loopamid® technology. This initiative aims to support Lindex's sustainability goals by reducing reliance on virgin materials and promoting circular textile solutions.

BASF's loopamid® technology will enable Lindex to incorporate recycled polyamide 6, derived entirely from textile waste, into selected lingerie products starting in early 2027. This move aligns with Lindex's objective to ensure 100% of its materials are recycled or sustainably sourced by the end of 2026.
The technology addresses challenges in recycling polyamide textiles and supports multiple recycling cycles, contributing to circular economy goals. The partnership reflects the fashion industry's increasing focus on sustainable practices and innovation in material sourcing. Potential risks include the scalability of recycled material integration and market acceptance of these new products.
