The Batang Integrated Industrial Zone (KITB) has absorbed 18,390 workers, positively affecting unemployment in Central Java. With a total investment of IDR 23 trillion, KITB includes 93 tenants and spans 442.2 hectares.
It aims to develop diverse industries, with 47% in labor-intensive sectors and 53% in technology-focused areas. Future expansions include a 500-hectare twin park, a 28-hectare data center, and facilities such as hotels and commercial compounds. This project aligns with the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD) 2027 and has the potential to elevate the region's economic profile on an international scale.
