Batelco Partners with Qareeb Data Centers for New Edge Facility in Bahrain
Batelco has partnered with Qareeb Data Centers to establish a new Edge facility at its Data Oasis campus in Manama, covering 6,000 sqm and offering AI-ready colocation services for enterprises in the GCC. This collaboration follows a Memorandum of Understanding signed in November 2024, with Qareeb aiming to expand its Edge data center solutions across the Middle East, targeting 50MW of capacity in multiple countries.

Batelco has formed a strategic partnership with Qareeb Data Centers to manage and operate a new Edge facility at Batelco's Data Oasis campus in Manama. The facility will span 6,000 sqm and provide sovereign, low-latency, AI-ready colocation services for enterprises across the GCC.
The partnership follows a Memorandum of Understanding signed in November 2024. Qareeb Data Centers, based in Bahrain, aims to deliver Edge data center solutions in the Middle East, with plans for 50MW of capacity across the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Jordan, and Egypt.
