Battery X Metals Achieves 135 km Range Increase in Light EV Post Battery Rebalancing

ENERGY STORAGE

Battery X Metals Inc. reported a 135.9 km range improvement in a light electric vehicle following a battery rebalancing using its patented technology. The rebalancing process significantly reduced voltage differences within a 144-cell NMC lithium-ion battery pack, enhancing capacity utilization without cell replacement.

The vehicle, previously showing only 0.1 km range, underwent trials yielding distances of 138.8 km, 140.6 km, and 128.3 km under mixed driving conditions. These results affirm the effectiveness of Battery X's rebalancing technology in extending battery lifespan and reducing operational costs for electric vehicle fleets. Additionally, Battery X has amended a collaboration agreement with a top 20 global university to advance eco-friendly technology for recovering critical battery materials from used batteries.
