BBR Énergie Opens New Facility to Enhance Energy Storage Production Capacity
BBR Énergie has launched a new production site in Bonson, Loire, with a €2.5 million investment to double its output capacity. This expansion aligns with the rising demand for energy storage systems, particularly from renewable energy producers.

On June 5, BBR Énergie inaugurated a 1,500 m² facility in Bonson, Loire, aimed at doubling its production capacity of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) that can reach 50 MWh. The site represents a €2.5 million investment and is part of a strategic growth plan initiated after the company’s establishment in 2016.
BBR Énergie plans to recruit 20 additional employees in the next 18 months, focusing on technical and engineering roles, as it aims for a revenue increase from €10 million to €20 million. A nearby plot for future expansion has already been secured to support this growth and potential international market entry.
