BCDA Collaborates with Esyasoft for Battery Energy Storage Systems
BCDA has partnered with PT Esyasoft Technologies Asia to implement battery storage solutions in New Clark City and other sites. This collaboration aims to improve grid stability and energy security while supporting renewable energy integration.

The Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) signed a memorandum of understanding with PT Esyasoft Technologies Asia on April 27. Esyasoft will deploy Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in New Clark City and other properties managed by BCDA, enhancing energy security and optimizing usage.
BCDA will conduct feasibility studies to assess the technical and commercial viability of the project. The partnership aligns with growing global demand for smart energy solutions amidst ongoing volatility in oil supply and prices. As of the end of 2025, renewable energy constituted 25% of the Philippine power mix, indicating a shift towards more sustainable energy sources.
